The 850 is Bombardier’s largest super mid-size private jet, and one of its newer models. Based on the CRJ200, the 850 was designed with low operating costs in mind, to improve the cost efficiency of running a larger mid-size jet. The jet also benefits by offering passengers similar levels of space and comfort as more expensive large long-range jets.
